Default Koni yellows Noob<<--- help?

Hey guys! I recently acquired a set of Koni yellows with some red Koni coilovers and I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I have no idea where to begin on how to adjust the rebound on the shocks. Also adjusting the coilovers for ride height seems impossible without taking apart the whole shebang. Can anyone point me in the right direction or give me a thorough explanation? I've read that got adjust the rebound I must. Press something on top of the shock?! Idk!!! I'm confused.

Thanks guys! You never let me down

Also I tried adjusting the rebound by using pliers to turn thing on top, but when I turn It counter clockwise, it seems to loosen up the screw and some fluid begins to come out. To stop it, I have to turn it back(clockwise)

Post some pics of what you have because what you're describing doesn't sound like normal Koni Sport shocks.

The shocks are seposed to come with a little tool thing to adjust them from the top.

You'll need to get that.

Also post a picture of the coilovers, it's hard to tell how to adjust them without seeing them.

Don't you adjust the older Koni Sports by removing the shock from the spring assembly and twisting the shock body iteself?

Some more, clear pics of the top mount area would help. Also see if there are any markings, part numbers, etc. on the bottom portion of the shock body.

Bumping the question on the older Koni Sport models because I'm thinking about buying a used older set.

I don't know how old the ones are you're looking at, but my Koni Sports were made some time in 2001 (ordered and installed February 2002) and they adjust with the **** on top like the pic Jason posted above.
