Help on D16 build
I have a d16y8 head im building. Ive got aem fuel rail, fpr and rc 440cc injectors, blox stage 3 cam with blox valves, springs, and retainers. The head's been port and polished with 5 angle valve job. My Questions are, will this be ok with stock bottom end. Will there be any clearance issues. What should i set my fuel pressure at?
Any info or ideas are helpful.

with all that head would, i would imagine you would need to get it tuned (expecially with the new injectors)... so i would think touse are questions for the tune shop
Any ideas... you dont have to answer the questions exact i just want some ideas, like if anyone has used this head or the blox cams or anything like that.
all that work and money put into a great project so far. mine as well do it right. I suggest rebuilding The Bottom end. I Did It and Im always on a super low budget. If your worry is clearance issues then clay the motor.

i plan on rebuilding the bottom end but itll be around 2 months before i can and i need the car done within a week. Im just looking for ideas and/ or tips esecially for tuning if antones got any ideas on a starting basemap.
Doesn't sound like it. Sounds like an N/A build. I find it hard to believe that all this work is getting done with little to NO thought on engine management. Recipe for catastrophic fail right there. If it were me I'd have built from the bottom up. The top end is good for nearly 300hp stock.
Highly doubtful. Or you would've said something to the effect of "I'm thinking about running CROME or Hondata." instead of "got any tips?".
Sorry. Smartass is my profession. You should check the All Motor forum or the Engine Management and Tuning forum. That's my tip.

But if you have all that tuning equipment why would you then need tips on tuning? Especially since you said you have "all the stuff". If you need to ask with all this in mind then perhaps you need to seek out someone that actually does this for a living. I don't recall the last time I ever saw someone that dyno tunes vehicles ever come onto a forum and ask for tips.
i said i have one, as in access to one. we have one at my college, but my teacher doesnt have anything for obd1 so i need tips on what to get. He'll be doing it. I have crome and a chip burner but i want a little something more than crome pro.

lose the blox cam.. loss of massive torque , bad power band. a copy of a copy is crap lol you will only see a 10hp max fully tuned around 6-7,000 rpms
well if your going to try and tune it at school then you need to buy a RTP for the ecu and get a lc-1 wide band with mufler clamp mount.
try looking at Xeonocron for them
also with that big of injectors get a walbro fuel pump and run E85 it's cheap and is rated around 110 octane

Neptune RTP. And after all that headwork you'll still be slow. I gar-ron-tee. I don't know why people think that if they modify the head like they do on V8s that somehow TREMENDOUS power is going to be unleashed. Doesn't matter if you swap it as in a mini-me or build it. Not happening. Those heads are pretty efficient from the factory.
