Motor came from a 1997 integra ZC db6 sedan... i helped the owner pull out the engine out the car but he up the engine and have the parts laying out so i decided to take it and use as an experiment and learn about d16 ZC
1600cc 120hp factory specs
the reason why he change the engine cause it was a bit smokey in the top end revs with brand new rings
he swap to a new zc with gearbox swap
so this becomes my little experiment project... the owner said he is kinda pissed off he opened the engine because he wanted to give me it working so i put it in a shell and
drive
If you curious whats in the background its a 4afe project from june last year i restored it i got it from a friend and the tranny is from dads camry a140 just needs some clutches
but the light is on the ZC now i will buy a short block in the future and bolt on my parts.. oil pan and head

got a 2001 civic converter to replace my 1997 one the part numbers different but it looks same externally

Camshafts 5afe exhaust,4afe intake,sr20de intake and ZC obd2 full

sr20de low port

torque converter clutch flushed and ready for the road

4afe getting compression my experiment engine


4efe manifold got cleaned up

ZC camless no internals

d17a vtec stream at the garage changing the tappet cover gasket

badass non vtec cam

I need a daily driver now gosh too much parts and no car

saving to buy a ef then drop the ZC with a new tranny inside it

getting a deal on a 1985 civic rolling shell with glass and documents i not sure if i must take it

also getting a deal on some LS rods the seller told me it can fit my crank
i want to change the thread title to ZC build
what people cant see is that i got this engine parts so it putting it together alot a bolts and nuts where missing so i go to garages and get some

yup soon throw away the flex plate and torque convertor...some honda parts hard to find and get in jamaica since we dont have big junk yards like USA we can pick out some parts
i hope in can buy a honda with a gearbox and just swap engine its easier that way old EF or so i dont care about looks i enjoy honda engine
