What happened to youre coolant housing on the head? get a little hungry? haha
Good luck with NOS or FI on a carb set-up haha...this should be on a fail blog

First off this is not a FI setup. Second IMO it is a lame build, a D15 with ZC SOHC VTEC head with a Y7 non Vtec cam and carb instead of fuel injection. Why??

intake manifold soon swap off i dont see the right one yet....
i wanted to start it on the ground with a carb to hear how it runs
and i took off the torque convertor because im waiting on the flywheel to come...
Tha person who said engine failed so what i least i tried Honda engine is not anything special to break its just a fun build even if its slow like a snail

Never said the engine failed said this should be on a fail blog, and that it looks like someone took some bites of youre coolant outlet on the head....Although with a carb set-up and nos or turbo that will be soon to come. If its just a basic engine swap why post in FI? Its not anything special too break is right but you shouldnt be wasting youre time and money. Its really not worth the effort and time building a Carb anything when it comes to hondas....but whatever floats youre boat. good luck with it

the previous owner used water instead of coolant water kill blocks fast....rots the sleeves thats i why i change the short block to a d15b because d16/zc are hard to find in jamaica..
the manifold issue even if i install i fuel injector version i could posible start it on the ground anyways but it will come in due time i hate carbs myself...i heard of some hondas with one injector near the throttle body that setup would be easy bolt on...but i will change it anyways

The one injector would be TBI ( Throttle body injection) I still would not use this with any kinda of boost. Maybe you could get away with a small shot like 35shot. I would still advise against it tho. You really need Fuel injection. I really wouldnt waste youre time. ALot of ppl run straight water most of the water, it would be in contact with aluminum which isnt going to rust. There isnt any oxygen in coolant passages to oxidize and create rust. If there was coolant in the cylinders and rusted them thats a different story. I would just do the engine swap, i wouldnt think about any type of FI. YOure just wasting youre time.

OP, I would suggest you keep your build secret until you have a workable carb setup. Speaking of carbs, that intake manifold sucks no matter how you feed it fuel. The runners aren't wide enough for anything besides economy.
Wrong, oxygen is dissolved in the water no mater what you do. That combined with galvanic corrosion (steel water pump & tube, nipples, etc) creates a hotbed for orange and white crust to eat it up.

Still dont find an intake manifold cheap yet i want the side draft d16y8 one not the popular downdraft d16y7
but i got this very cheap its kinda backway still civic rs tranny.... if its broke i will fix it the regular trouble spot is the starting off clutch because it doesnt have a torque convertor

Re: D15b pm3 with full ZC 97 head 10.5.1 cr
oh alot of updates since.... engine is fine i even got a nice gearbox swap and clutch now ready to start. I got a super long intake manifold and using some toyota 5efhe injectors rather than the honda LEV ones. I even bought a starter and other missing brackets. Finally that carb intake take off and in the trash. Last thing i need is an ecu to run it. The motor looks cleaner now ready for boost
for injector rail banjo fittings, gas to clean up some stuff and start when the computer comes

Ok for those who never got or understand the project
First it came as a ZC from an integra and the block sleeves rot so i got a d15b pm3 block as replacement then add the ZC head
Now it look like this
