Default Mods Are On

hey guys , i wrote a while back and told you the mods i was getting for my typeR. the intake sounds great and it handles better with the lowering springs , i just got the exhaust and im gonna have custom piping run back to it. the short shifter is great also , and the struts went in without any problem ... my next purchase is prolly gonna be some new tires ... any size's you guys want to recomend ?

Which intake are you using? I doubt it handles better, but how did you come to that conclusion? What is your spring/shock combo?

actually it does handle better than before , i can tell going around corners and i took it out after a morning rain this morning and i could tell ... i have the AEM cold air intake, and Eibach lowering springs along with newspeed font , upper rear , and lower rear struts. might not be the best on the market , but i have that bad word called "budget" i had to work with

I don't have any experience with the Eibach kit and what it does for a Type R. Would you say it induces more understeer or oversteer? What are the front and rear spring rates? Are they comfortable for daily driving?

On a budget, I'd recommend Azenis for street tires. You can find them for $67-70 each in 205-50-15, though I'm not sure what size wheels you have.

Edit to remove comment about "what's a upper and lower rear strut." Where exactly does your lower rear strut bar attach?

So I'm assuming you are running stock shocks? Correct?

Also, are you still using the ITR wheels...you are leaving out some details.

this is my first typeR so i cant really compare them to others , but it lowerd the car 1.5 inches and improved cornering to the point where i can tell considerably. And yes i mean tower bars ... i forgot if i dont make it exactly clear on what it is i get my *** chewd out haha its comfortable for daily driving because , and theres a more professional name for it , but im calling it "stiffness" adjustment and i have it set on C. there is A B C D E , A being the softist and E being the Stiffest. I think that the car has a little more understeer because it seems to be a little tight feeling , but like i said , ive never had a typeR before and ive only had them on for 3 days now ... im going to play around with it when i know a little more about that sort of thing.

You are a trial user for the first 15 days of membership here. After that if your user rating is still above 95% then you are automatically made a regular user by the software.

I think after 7 or 14days, you're not a trial user.

Get 205/50/15 Azenis for starters, if you don't get a lot of rain or snow in your area.

just make sure your alignment is correct after installing the lowering springs... the stock itr shocks can handle a drop like that no problem -rob
