Strange random idle, Tach goes nuts, randomly stalls...
i would expect it to be the vaccuum lines, but i can't find the leak....
My idle will sometimes go crazy... and while driving the tach just goes bananas...
sometimes will just stall....
this is fo r a jdm b18c1 in a 92 cx
also, sometimes the car pulls like a ****, but sometimes it just barely puts a long.

If the tack is jumpin all over sounds like the Ignitor module inside the dist...
the tach just bounces all over sometimes. very quickly, like the needle is just floating... it'll go like 2-5-3-7-5-4 for a few seconds(the RPMS sound like they are jumping around, but only very slightly, and are definitely not matching up to the tach's readings) ... then go back to normal or stall out...
Im wondering the same thing also. b18c1 in my 92 vx. sometimes will idel weird. like up and down and up and down like only 500 rpm's though, but doesn't sound good when standing next to it, but it only does this once in a while. maybe my TPS is screwey? can't think of anything else.
I would check your ignitor again and make sure that the 4 contacts are all secure. I had the same problem even when i changed ignitors and it turned out to be the contacts were loose causing the car to fail and miss at certain rpms.. Also you can use some dielectic greese on the contacts as well.. (I know I didnt spell that right)
The ignitor is a module that is inside the distributor. It has 4 wires that connects up to it and you cant really miss it. It slides into the distro but you should be able to see all 4 wires when you take the cap off. Just make sure you crimp down on them tightly and your problems should go away..

My Dist. was fine. And I have all new grounds to everything. Big wire. But it only does it once and a while, and if its doing it, if I rev it up, it will stop being stupid. So I don't know. mystery. Ill just say its becasue the big block 350 in the trunk is causing the problems.
added: 1 thing I found out tonight is if I try to hold my idel at 2000 rpms, its impossible. from about 1750 rpms till about 2500 rpms', it acts stupid. here is what happens. I push the gas to try and make it idel at that rpm, but it will go up to 2000 rpms, then back down, then back to 2000 rpms, then back down, over and over, and I don't touch the gas pedal. It idels at 3000 rpm's just fine. I need a little help.
