I am assuming you had spark? It says you checked it, but didn't say either way, just curious.

Do you hear the fuel pump prime? Have you checked to see if you are getting fuel to the motor? If not, pull off the return line from the fuel pressure regulator on the rail. If none there try and the fuel filter.

Hey

Normaly when i have a issue with a car that dont start i have three steps that i take:

1st. check if there is spark at the spark plugs.
2nd. Check if there is fuel spraying out of the injectors by swinging the engine.
3rd. Check if there is compression in all cylinders.

If there is nothing at Step 1,2 or 3 then work your way back to the components.

e.g fuel not spraying out of the injectors check the common rail if there is fuel in there...

So no gas is coming out of the nut on the fuel filter when you prime the car? Have you checked your main relay under the dash? If you aren't sure where at that is check out this site. http://techauto.awardspace.com/mainrelay.html

When you first turn the car on, does the CEL come on (you will hear a click and your pump prime) and then it will stay on for 2 seconds and then another click and the light will go off.

search TDC (top dead center) and make sure all the lines on your crank and cams line up correctly.
