i just finished building a ls/vtec motor (b18/b16) but for some reason it wont let me rev past 3.5. currently im running a boosted gsr map on my s300. i know there are a few cel that are being thrown right now such as icv, vtec (its not wired up), and some vacuum issues.

could those be the cause of it not reving past 3.5? or is just because it isnt tuned?

kinda sounds like ur ecu is in limp mode check all ur grounds and wires. i had same prob and it was ecu in limp mode

I also had this issue. Had to trade out the ecu with a phearable p28 to fix the issue.
