Default automatic transmission help

i need to drop my motor and this is my first time dealing with a auto lol manual is way to easy.


anyway show the hell do you take off the shift cable i see no pin nothing im totally stumped. this is the last piece to take off so i need help asap.

you disconnect it from the shifter and leave it attached to the transmission

i figured that was the easy but will it be pain to put back im keeping the auto i have my crx with a 5 speed already lol.

the shift cable disconnects via a small acces plate that you unbolt where it goes into the transmission. then theres a clip inside locking the cable in under that. dont lose it...

yea i unbolted that part but didnt see a clip maybe frustration made it fly passed me ill look harder.

put about 2 quarts of oil in the torque converter
