ok so i replaced the head gasket on my 91 civic with a d15b1 with a mpfi swap on it. i reused the head bolts too. when i started the car it ran fine for like a min or 2 and started shooting a lot of white smoke and it smells sweet so i did a compression test and cylinder 2 and 3 are low 1= 110 2=30 3=50 4=110 i torqued the head down in sequence i dont know what is wrong with it. if anyone can help that would be great. some one told me that my head was warped i hope not or that it was the block

 

you need new head studs silly.

 

you can reuse the head studs just need a few extra lbs added \\

did u blow your head gasket and thats why you replaced it?\\

if so you could have warped your head\\

 

no didnt blow it when i did my mpfi swap i deiced to take the head off for some reason lol but i will try that thnaks probably going to buy some new head bolts and see it that fixes it
