06 type s noise when letting clutch out slowly
I noticed recently that my 06 type s with 70k has been making some noise but only when the clutch is let out very slowly with little to no gas and it seems to be worse when cold. I only hear it when engaging 1st and if I rev it alittle higher to catch first say above 1500 rpms, I don't hear it at all. If I push the clutch in while stopped or moving I do not hear the sound. It is only when catching first with little to no gas. After searching on here, I think the issue is the release bearing, however, why would it make noise when letting off the clutch but nothing when the clutch is depressed ?
it would make a noise cause there is no pressure when your off the clutch so it spins freely and when u depress it the fork is putting pressure on the bearing against the pressure plate i believe its the throw out bearing i seen plenty of those.
