Looking for an Adaptor Bracket or Dimensions to Eliminate ATTS Unit on Type S
My friend is converting his 97 Prelude Type S to a base model drivetrain. He's eliminating the ATTS unit and Type S transmission and replacing with it with a base model tranny, intermediate shaft and drive axles.
I tried contacting Pirate McFred (Hopefully he doesn't mind me listing his username) although he doesn't make the adaptor any longer that allows the base model intermediate shaft to bolt correctly to the Type S engine block.
I have a friend that works at a CNC machine shop and he is willing to produce it but needs blueprints or dimensions of the part. Just wondering if any of you may have that information or better yet the adaptor my friend needs.
Thanks

if your friend at the machine shop is willing, he would be able to fab one up by blueprinting it himself. it takes a little time, but is pretty easy to do.
its really easy to make one your self, i made one for mine the other day and it took me maybe 30 min from start to finish. i know it is not "pretty" like a cnc peice, but it works perfect for what it is.(and yes, i had to angle it like that for a reason, before anybody asks)

I don't mind. I made a dozen of them a while back. Never had the dimensions on paper and I'd have to try to dig up the program from years ago that might no longer be in the machine. If I can find the program I'll see about making another run. There's not a lot of demand but it was worth it in the long run, as I sold all the plates I made. I think I even have the old How-To-Install document too.
What's your friend's budget and how long's he willing to wait? The Shop's pretty busy recently.
