how do i find out if my motor h22a4 is from an sh or not ?

 

you could get a Type S from japan. I think the trannys are bigger.

 

it wouldnt matter if it was from a SH...the only thing the sh has that other lude did not was a better suspension.....h22 motor is the same in a SH or a non SH.

Ok the way to tell if it is an SH is the oil filter is located right behind the drivers side intake manifold, also there is a difference in the blocks as well because the SH uses the ATTS system this makes the mounting holes for the halfshaft on the other side than the standard halfshaft. If you are wanting to use this for a swap please take my advice and keep looking for a base model engine it will save you in the long run.
