Default quick ignition coil question!?!

I was wondering if anyone knew the difference (if any) between the model numbers for the Honda ignition coils...two different models are shown for my 92 accord LX F22A1 motor. One is 30520-PT9-A02 (TC-19A) and the other is 30520-PT3-A02 (TC-18A).

Replace your old coil with one of the same coil ID number. TC-18A or TC-19A. They are technically the same coil. IIRC they both came OEM on the USDM CB Accords depending on where they were put together. They are both listed as OEM coils for 90-93 EX, DX & LX, 2.2L USDM Accords.

Could using a TC 18A on a '93 LX (requiring TC 19A) cause any issues?

90-91 are internal coil and 92-93 are external coil

you can't interchange the two at all

The tc 19a and the tc 18a are both external coils.
The tc 08a is the internal model.

I'll be damned if I'm not running one on my 96 civic ej8 b16a2 swap. Just continue to take your accord to a shop and quit speaking on things you know nothing about.
If you know what you're doing the possibilities are endless in the Honda game.

i know this thread is old but I had to bring it back for this comment.

Running one what? What is it that you are running on your Civic that has any correlation to this topic?

You converted your engine from an internal coil distributor to an external coil distributor or vice versa. Yes that can be done. Or that you converted an external coil distributor housing to run an internal coil or vice-versa, can it be done...not many would waste their time doing this when swapping housings is so much easier.
