did search, spelling error . thanks for the links,
but no need to be a smart ***.

ps- was at yoshio's a few months ago, first and last time, he didnt know how to use his new dyno, took 6hrs just to dyno and do 1/2 of vafc tunning and charged $ca80.00 over verbal estimate. sucks when pride make people that way, maybe he just hates honda....

Sorry I just typed a quick response cause the thread was fairly recent.

Yoshio is Yoshio though. You're right he does and can charge whatever he wants. My buddy spent $1000+ for a tuning package and Yoshio called him when his time was up and said "You're out of time, you have to pay more if you want me to go on". This was 3/4 through tuning!!!

I agree it's tight, but I guess that's what over 10 years of building proven race engines and racing can do to ya. And people will pay, so he has no reason to be fair all the time.

np,

what a bad expierence your friend had, thats tooootaly unprofessional. I was in toronto on buisness and thought he might be able to add somthing to my VAFC settings, with all his supposed knowledge and skill. he made it worse, left the settings in such a way as to put the ECU into limp mode (he didnt know that you cant do + adjustments very well with the fool the map system) i had to "clean up" his settings after i left...... PLUS he had just got his dynopack and hadnt calibrated it yet.... so i didnt even get an accurate baseline... i dont even want to think of it anymore.

thanks for the other link, i was hoping people had some other solutions besides strip interior, remove AC.

i saw a realy trick piece in september's OPTION2 this guy had a fiberglass rear interior in his skyline (of course), said it took out 7kg...

Well the end result of my friend's tuning was over 200whp so it wasn't that bad. But any dyno guy in Toronto could have fixed your V-AFC settings. If you had posted/asked on TPC we probably could have set something up for you. If you're coming down again let us know and we can set you up with Rick Lee (RT Motorsports), probably run you $120 canadian for an hour including the tuning.

We have drag racing in St. Thomas (Near London) on October 19th, and a track school and lapping on October 13th.

DPE racing engines and Dynopower could both do v-afc tuning...just IM me whenever you are coming

About the weight reduction, Is the car a Drag Only car or a daily driver. If you use it every day, alot of the mods below wont do well.

I would start by stripping all the interior cept the driver seat, and seat belt. all interior trim, and empty the trunk. No stereo system or sub boxes. Gut the car out. Remove any un needed componants, like A/C systems, Windshield Wiper motor, Spare Tire, anything not bolted down and alot that is.

That should get you almost a sec or so off your times.
