I got a question, I am interested in buying some springs, skunk2 spring caught my eyes they drop 2.0 / 2.25 I have civic si 08 stalk rims I want to know if that is to low, there some other spring that is 1.5 / 1.5 if that is better? Thanks!

 

Btw I would like to know if i should get a camber kit as well. I want to have a low even ride

 

with any lowering spring you wont NEED a camber kit but it is recommended. unless your going the herrafrush stance you will want to get full suspension. as for going low, i think Eibach Sportlines go the lowest

 

I want the camber kit so it wont destroy my tires, i do want them straight. But I was woundering, what is a good drop, i don't want anything stupid low eaither where ill be destroying the bottom of my car but I do want it Low possibley a fingure gap or a tad more- so how many dropped inches until the tires require a camber to get realined? and is 1.5 / 1.5 inches a good drop or should i got 2.0 / 2.25?

 

The skunk 2 lowering springs will probaly make you the happiest with what your saying and you dont need a camber kit at that hieght, even if you did get the kit with any low car you will never get the tires to be stock straight, being at the hieght of the skunk 2 springs wont realy wear your tires like you think i mean probaly only increase the normal wear by about 10percent i have buddy club N+ suspension on my car an my drop is lower than the skunk 2 and i love it, it isnt too low were i smash everything in site, it takes turns like an animal and im on the stock camber which is fine, just get an alignment after the springs are on an have them set the toe to 0 and you will be fine.... hope that helps

 

Skunk2 is the way to go, I had TEINs and sold them to go to skunk2s.

 

How low is your car dropped ? and do you have aftermarket shocks ?

 

You have shocks to go along with that? the skunk2 shocks 1.5” - 1.75” Average Drop, you recomend me getting some shocks ? front and back???

Are you asking if 1.5'' is to low and will be scraping?
The answer is No.
Do you need a camber kit, I still havent got a clear answer on that but from what I have read its a 50/50 your opioion at 1.5 drop.
Shocks?
See alot of people going for springs and not thinking about the shocks.. So at a 1.5 drop I would think of getting shocks sometime soon.

Im getting SKUNK2 springs and SKUNK2 SHOCKS ASAP. The Camber kit will come eventually.
