Could you please tell me what is this thing on the intake manifold and where are those two hoses suppose to go.

i just did a swap of this b16A in my integra. and i have no idea where these two hoses go!

i had blocked one with a screw and the second i think should go somewhere, where tho?

 

Idle air control valve. One line is connected to the manifold I think, the other imnot sure, prob goes some where near thermostat.

 

any one else?

 

left one goes to nipple on water pump to t-stat pipe, right one goes to rear bottom nipple on t-body, t-body then goes to small nipple on intake manifold next to the big heater hose output. they are coolant hoses. but not necessary unless u live up north. I looped a hose to bypass t-body and iac. mine runs from nipple on water pipe, straight to the manifold.

 

Not to hijack this thread but can someone post pics of this description? My IACV doesnt have any hoses at all connected to it and i've been trying to find out to correctly connect (same as factory please) the hoses as well.
