Default another IACV question

ok a guy at work just bought a honda civic-93 with a mini-me swap, idle bounces after warms up so i thought i would help him out and i told him i had the same problem before and i would help him fix it, so thinking that the FITV-(under TB) white screw backed out which it did so i screwed/turned it back in, put it back on the TB started the car up and then it got worse!!!-kinda. instead of it being a slow hunting idle now its a fast hunting idle, but now when i unplugged the IACV the car runs smooth, now does mean the IACV needs cleanin right? also will he have a hard time to start the car if it is unplugged in the morning? no cel but who knows want the another owner did.
