steering rack cricked?
Alright so a couple of weeks ago my hatch almost got stolen.
I noticed that when i was fixing it the steering rack was somehow cricked? Well the wiper control and the turn signal doesn't seem to be level. Also when the plastic housings that go behind the steering wheel, it leaves a big gap between the plastic cover and the cluster cover.
I was wondering why is it like this? How to fix it? Any other comments are greatly appreciated.

That is not the steering rack....
That is your steering column and column support.
If you take five mins to carefully look at your column, You will see the problem.
also, a "cricked" is a bug.

Cricked isn't even a bug, nor a word. Cricket is a bug, crooked is the word you're looking for. Cricked is... holy hell, I don't even know. I wasn't sure if you were trying to say your steering was chirping.
If the column is bent you can pretty easily remove and replace it, but I can see the bracket holding part of the column is bent right where it goes under your gauge cluster.

okay so i don't know if this matters but i took pictures of my sedan (90 honda civic) the bottom part of the column that connects to this plastic underneath where the fuse box is but they seem to be different?

sure, bending a steering column back to being straight as an arrow is very easy with a few simple tools. You will need some kerosene, two lemons, a rubber ducky, and a new steering column...
Sounds like you should take it to somebody else... You will need a new column and sounds like new ignition cylinder and maybe new locks. go to the dealer and ask them what to do.
ya take it to the dealer if you want to get raped in the face!!! come on dig into it and LEARN!!!! whats wrong with people these days
it's just the steering column tho?
and i don't want to take it to a dealer..*****' expensive
http://www.spoonertuner.com/manuals you can download the manual here if you need some assistance on taking it out and putting it back in!!!
I feel like you can tackle it then by all means save yourself some money. But it sounds to me like you have no idea where to start. Being that you even had trouble figuring out that it was bent, I would not recommend you mess with it.
