88 crx d16 stock turboed ecu help
Ok guys I have been putting on the turbo kit all week and its been running bad finally got all the little problems and vac leaks fixed and she runs great idles perfect and all I still haven't drivin it far at all just bc I'm afraid that I need some sore of ecu or injecters. Which I am getting but before I do I need yalls help to get the right stuff. So I've heard of people gettin 90 to 94 turboed eagle talon stock injecters work good but what do y'all think also I no I need some sort of ecu upgrade this is my real question what ecu do I get. I have a pm6 stock right. Or who / where do I send mine and with what chipping do I need like I said I have d16a6 that is bone stock the turbo kit is also set at 8 lbs so ya that's what I got o and what about tuning or when I get the ecu will it be tuned?
you would have better luck putting this in the Forced Induction section.
but dsm 450's are a good start on injectors since youre not running much boost at all so you should be fine with those and the stock fuel pump.
as far as the ecu, idk anyone that tunes obd0. it would be best to have it dyno'd or atleast street tuned. going obd1 would be the best bet

I'm not sure why you just didnt reply to your original thread that I posted answers in.
If you go into the Forced Induction section, you can find the state you live in and see which tuners are available in your area.
As thatHEMIguy said, you will need to convert your car to OBD-1 using an ECU jumper harness as well as a distributor harness. Phearable.net or rywire.com has all the conversion harness you will need. If you order from phearable, you can also order an already chipped ECU and a basemap that will allow you to drive your car to a tuners. They don't recommend you drive it for long as it is just a rough conservative map.
If you plan on staying non vtec, just choose the OBD-1 non vtec ECU from the phearable site, unless you plan on just buying a stock ECU you can purchase a p06 which is from a 92-95 Civic DX/LX with the d15b7 non vtec engine in it.
Since you are planning on going OBD-1 the distributor you will need will be from the same engine as you get the ECU from. 92-95 Civic DX/LX. There are people that have repinned OBD-0 distributors. Or rywire.com has new distributors as well.
