Default eg gauges in vent fabrication???

so i dont want my gauges on teh pillar because i think its pretty ricey and screams "look what i got, steal mee!" so i want to mount them in the vents that are on the gauge bezel. only problem-i have no fiberglass skill or experience. i have some bondo experience. i figured id ask here bc of people building sub boxes and this is just a smaller version of that in my eyes.

my goal-

i was thinking of using a dremel to cut out the vents, then buy some sort of gauge pod cup(3 of em) and hold them in place, glue em??, then fiberglass the gaps around em and tilt them towards me.

It would be much easier if you install the gauges in the stock radio location. You can hide the gauges with a "fake" Honda radio template.

while i like that idea more than having to mess around with my bezel, i need my radio and climate control spot and an optional audio console is at least $250 i believe.

^^ optional audio console is not that high. I bought one for my old hatch for around half of that from a seller off of eBay.

about 200$,

But heres another option, mount the gauges were the factory radio would go like he said,
but relocate your radio to the glove box. When its done right and clean it works great.
