I plan on building a custom motorized piece above the middle ac vents that has 3-4 gauges in it! should be pretty cool, and will hidce the gauges nicely when not in use.

If you're looking for a spot for 3 gauges and want to relocate the radio...
Call Straight Line Specialties, ask for Nick, and tell him you are looking for a 3 gauge radio bezel for the 92-95 civics.
(701) 282-2902
Made out of aluminum, powdercoated black, red, gunmetal, blue, silver, or left unfinished.

I am sure he can make it with two gauges as well. His civic bezel is off @ the CNC shop getting layed out in the computer so that it can be mass produced.
Here is a picture of one of his 1g DSM vent bezels...

96 center consoule into 92 civic sedan. using a DIN slot gauge cluster.
i wanted mygauges were my cdplayer is but the cd unit wouldn't it in the place the gauges are located now, because of how the dash is attached to the floor.
warning light for oil, Vtec engaugement light, and my intercooler sprayer activation switch and working light. (spray comes on at 12psi and turns of after pressure drops below 12psi)
EGT, Oil psi, boost/vac will be moved to pillor pod, and water temp, a/f, and intake temp will be located in the lower DIN slot shown, still have to find a spot to mount my laptop, and my wide ban O2 display

I'm sorry I just have to say what a horrible exexution of these guage and meter installs
I give you credit for the turbo setup, and having functional items such as an EGT and a FMIC sprayer, but not one of the guages matches up and not one panel fits right.
Take some time and make it look good.

first off as u can tell from the pictures that the project isn't finished yet, because none of my gauges are the same kind. ive been waiting for more than 3 weeks for my autometer ultra light gauges to arrive. apparently the seller has run into some problems.
second, everything fits perfect and lines up just right, u shoudl try holowing out a hole big enough to fit a switch into that space by the rear defroster. its a PITA, and as u can see from the picture its not even pushed in, once pushed in and one the clock block off plate is screwed down everything fits 100%. just waiting for my gauges to come in so i can finish wireing everything up.

Re: EG guys where do u mount your gagues? (yusoslo)
i didn't want my boost guage on the a-pillar, so i stuck it in the cluster...
here's my initial guage setup, but i will be putting the guages in the stock radio location because they are hard to see while driving I'm going to put the radio in the top of the console, and then put the map pocket underneath which will house the turbo timer/boost controller... i think that will be cleaner and more functional

Re: EG guys where do u mount your gagues? (5thgenh4tch)
thanks for the link, heres what I did wth mine- in the center I took my stock plastic peice out and molded it smooth with bondo then put some real carbon fiber fabric over it and polyurethaned that so it is shiny and looks real. Where the tach is it is a 3 3/4" in dash and I just took some 1/4" hardboard and cut it to fit in the old A/C vent opening it was pretty easy, same with the switch panel. The hardest part was moving the HVAC control unit into the opening below the dash right above the cupholders. It still works though, sorry but I dont have a close up pic of it down there yet.
