ALL 92-95 Hatches are pre-wired for vtec. No need to run wires, only wire u should run is a knock sensor wire(if your doing a gsr swap).

You are incorrect!! All the 92s had wiring for VTEC. But the 93-95 only the SI/EX/VX had vtec wiring..the rest didnt.

that almost pisses me off thinking about it...but i guess if you save 3 cents here and 10 cents there..it will add up!

I may be wrong but I think If your car was made in Canada it is already prewired regaurdless of year. My 93 Canadian CX had a VTEC wire. All I needed was knock

My stepbro has a 94 DX and it was made in canada, so he probably has a vtecwire already.

When I was looking under the hood the other day at my 93 Cx I noticed the bumper said "Honda of Canada". ...But, I belive my Cx was in a wreck and that is NOT the original bumper. I can tell by the Vin # I think. Something like 1 at the start means it was made in Canada and 0 is US :confused / wild guess:

Can anyone back this up on the Civic's from Canada? I need to figure out how to wire vtec in for my GSR motor when I get it
