Poor FD

Probably a couple hundred at the most to get it welded, smoothed, and primed.

yeah I know. I don't know shy anyone would ruin such a beutiful body like the fd's for a body kit. I bought the car at a real good price and it already has a V8 conversion kit in it. so I'm doing an ls1 engine with a turbonetics tc78 turbo

Wow, that's awesome man! I'm doing an FC right now with a T56 6-speed and a 4.3 Vortec V6. Will probably go LT1 later, but for now just the 4.3

*sigh* i hate it when people do this, the problem with no matter what you do when welding new metal in to fix that is eventually its gona rust on the other side because theres no way to prime it, and once you weld the seems the galvacoat burns off on the other side in the vicinity of the weld. I mean typically it would take like 15-20 years for that to show through again but its just annoying knowing none the less.

Get another vehicle with no rust and problem solve. Once car have rust it have gone cancer. The only thing was to weld a sheeting metal into holes.

Way too much, you should sell the fd to me on the cheap

lol no not going to sell you the car. some people dont know that fd shells go for about4500-10000 depending on condition plus i have almost all my fabrication done for my ls1 turbo set up which should make around 600whp on pump gas and about 12psi. an i already found someone locally that will do the body work and paint inside and out for $1,850.
