Jswap question
Contact API if the other guy's contact doesn't further your knowledge, I'm putting a J32 into my 91 DX, I got my mounts, custom harness, axles, the whole she-bang from them and it's pretty much a drop, plug and play process ..i'm more then sure your motor will fit using a specified Kit, but i'm telling you now, you're going to have to remove every mount space on the frame, the entire deal is custom..requires fab and welding, but after that it's a straight easy drop.

3. Remove em all, let the entire kit do the walking and talking for you, I practiced the install on a crew member who's currently doing the swap into his Si, its actually EASIER then doing a K-Swap and it fits like Honda intended for that motor to get it's *** in there.
An Area you should be paying closer attention to then getting the motor in is Suspension and your exhasut..the J/C series Header is a unique one piece (it's like the headers/downpipe/Cat are all connected, you HAVE to use them, and the piping requires some decent bends or you're gonna resrict ur **** something fierce...and rob yourself of power.

I wouldn't be so fast to count him out....
The actual SWAP once you have the mounts, is rather easy to do, infact, ALMOST as easy as any B-Swap into Any Chasis from both a mounting and wiring point of view. He can do several things to make his life extremely easy...
1)Send your original harness in to whoever supplying the mount kit...again i'd recommend API, for $300 or more they will make you a totally plug and play harness for your swap.
2)Obtain your axles, and mount kit from the same company, Once again, API offers a mount kit specifically for J/C-Swaps, which includes all brackets, and mounts and instructions on installing them. IF anything, it is POSSIBLE to drill and BOLT in the new brackets to be used for mounting but I wouldn't recommend it at all, send the frame to a welder, or have a welder come by..do his thing...and you're good to go.
3) RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH...not reading on the process can kill him, For instance, if you cop a J32 or J series motor after 2003 and think it's gonna be a smooth go, And you forget something stupid like the Gas Pedal from the same car, you won't be able to use the swap...why?? Those J series models are drive by wire..a difficult system to relocate into the new chasis.
His biggest obstacle will be: MONEY. Not having enough of it. You're gonna need to pay for alot...The Harness, the Mounts, the Axles, the welding, the exaust, the suspension (YOU CANNOT DROP THIS MOTOR IN ON A STOCK SUSPENSION THINKING YOU'LL BE OK DAILY DRIVING THE THING UNTIL U CAN AFFORD ONE...Don't even think about it.) Barring that I DID NOT pay for my swap (Because I owned the CL Type S) between the mounts, Harness, axles, shipping I spent well over 1200 bucks, and then there is the downtime waiting for the parts to be shipped..
It CAN be done...If you CAN'T accomplish a swap like this, skill aside, it would be because of the money it takes to make happen, but it CAN be done fairly easily if you take on alot of the tasks yourself, although some of it is unavoidable, u GOTTA pay to get it done.

Well I would love to do this.... All the encouragement is much appreciated. If only I had friends that could help me work on it. I know about car **** but not to this extent, but if some1 were to guide me through it I would have no problem what so ever. Tge main stuff I would have a problem with would be mainly the wiring. Like ole dude said I could hire a welder for the fabricating part but after that I'm lost. I mean I could try to bolt it in and wire it up, but this would be my first attempt at doing both wiring and installing an engine/ exhaust and other goodies.. I can probably do most of the suspension work seeing that I've done s little of that but I'm lost in a general sense after that..... If any of y'all out there are located in the south east area... Mainly MS I would be much appreciated if you wanted to give me a hand or just point me in the dirrection of the nearest person who can... Lol

Nah dude, see what I don't like to see is someone getting discouraged from something that's NOT that hard to do..lemmie simplify it for you...
The wiring??? You don't have to lift a FINGER...take the original engine harness that came with your car, and the harness that came with your swap..and send it into say...API...THEY will do all the wiring for you, and send you back a CUSTOM, PLUG AND PLAY, HARNESS, including modifications at the ECU part of the harness as well.
The Exahust?? It's TOUGH...but if you have say a fabricator/welder come in, and look it over with you. You two can discuss the bends and angles that need to be taken in order to make everything work...the piping itself would be easy for the Welder/fab to make. Expense?? Depends on what u get the pipes made out of, but u have to keep in mind not to use bends that are going to restrict the flow, the last thing u wanna do is spend all this money to get the swap in and settled only to **** up the piping and choke the crap outta ya motor.
Mounts/Brackets... Once again, this is where a Fab/Welder will come in handy, u take the instructions given to you with the kit, and a good welder, it's easy as all hell dude, just make sure you get the old mounting points in the chasis OUT of the motor first because everything going in is gonna be new.
It's NOT hard dude, if you've done swaps before, it's just about the same...but there ARE tricky parts to this...
1-- THe shifter cables are gonna be tricky to run, and find, I THINK you can use Accord/Prelude/K Series shifter boxes and cables..
2--You can FORGET about running power steering or AC, not without the kits to aid in it, it CAN be done, but it CANNOT be done without the custom kits for it.
There are other things I can't think of em right now...
