Hello honda-tech! So After I realized how much college was going to cost me I had to sell my DC5 and get an inexpensive DD. As much as I miss that K20 I have to say working on this Del Sol is way more fun. I wake up on the weekends and just think of little mods or things I can fix. It helps keep my mind off of other stressful things.

My dad picked this up for me at a dealer auction. When I got it there was A LOT of really lame things done to it. The body kit is pretty cheap, the rims were way too big, and I think it had a lift kit (LOL).

Anyways here it is, my 93 type s

The day I got it...



My first mod: KSport Coilovers $500 bucks on craigslist...


Installed...


Then one day I lost my targa top on the freeway, No one told me that the handles are known to strip/break...I learned the hard way...followed by a flat tire which also broke my drivers side skirt


Picked up one piece black housing headlights and some 5zigen 16" wheels and red BLOX lug nuts. They wheels were originally white so I rattle canned them to graphite. This was A LOT more work than I anticipated.


Just bought some Kaminari Side Skirts to replace the broken one..they look alright, and are WAY better quality than the cheap ones that are on the car now.

I'm having trouble deciding what color to paint the car...either black or repaint the same charcoal color...What do you guys think??

 

good start.. How do like the k-sports, do they bottom out alot on hard bumps?

 

When I had the 17's on it bottomed out all the time..but after I put on these 16's it rides perfect and handles incredibly well. it really stays flat through hard turns, but unsurprisingly can be pretty uncomfortable as a DD.
