What do yall think
My mom has been bothering my dad about turning in my del sol for a 2000 camry. she thinks the del sol is not safe for a first car. anyways, i was just wondering what yall think, should i keep the del sol, go with the camry, or bring up my love for the eclipse, mustang, and cougar. which of these 5 would yall take?? oh ya, my dad would sell the 93 del sol, w/ 40,000 miles, for $4,900. Do yall think that's a little cheap for him to sell it for??
anyways, please put down if yall think i should go with the del sol, camry, eclipse, mustang, or cougar?
my dad is also bitching at me that insurance will be too high if i go with the mustang, do yall think it will be that much higher than it is now??

First of all, how many posts are you going to make about this? I did a quick search and this is like the 4th post on the same topic.
You're 20 years old, you can make decisions for yourself.
Now, tell your mom that the del Sol is actually just as safe as a Civic. There is a ton of extra support for rollover protection, and the doors are strengthened significantly for side protection. The front and rear bumper supports are the same as the Civic's.
$4900 for a '93 sounds about right, although the car does have really low miles on it. I'd try and sell it for $6500, and then work your way down.
I voted for the del Sol but honestly, if I was in your position, I'd take the Camry. It's 7 years newer, and a much nicer car, which will last forever. Drive the Camry, and save up some money to buy whatever car you want.
