need a spring compressor to replace stock ITR springs?

You definitely dont need one for the rear springs...to remove them from the shock or reinstall them.
But what about the fronts? I don't care about dissasembly. I never use a spring compressor for that. I just remove the top nut while the shock is still in the wheel well with the strut mount still bolted to the tower.
Do you need a compressor to push the spring/top mount past the shock theads? Or is it already pretty much past the threads like in the rear.

No.
Two people have one push on top mount and other person puts the nut on a few threads or you can install it in pieces and jack the lca up to get the enough threads to put the nut on.

Cool thanks. I usually use the jack under the LCA method on rears. I don't remember if I've done it on the fronts.
