heres the deal... i installed a brand new 6 puck clutch kit to the engine which the engine is not installed to the car. its sitting in my backyard going to get swapped in soon. i covered the engine andthe tranny with a big trash bag so it wouldnt get wet when it rains.... long story short i have been gone for 6 months and when i take a look to make sure the engine still is in the backyard the stupid neighborhood cats messed up the bag which was covering the engine so now the whole clutch kit has rust on it.... do i need to buy a new clutch kit?

 

shouldn't have to. just use like, 500grit sand paper, and sand some of the rust off. you should be okay. just think of it like your brake rotor when there is rust on it.
