Clutch kit
So I bought a brand new exedy replacement clutch kit from a guy off here about a year ago that was supposed to fit my z6. I bought it on good faith that he knew what I needed and had it. Well I'm getting ready to do the clutch and I noticed that the clutch alignment tool that I bought doesn't fit right. So I grabed the part number and looked it up(KHC08) and it says this clutch kit is for a 2001-2005 1.7 civics!! Now I'm a little aggravated as I have no spare cash for a new kit. Does anyone know if it will fit? I'm thinking not. So now I'm stuck with a brand new clutch kit in the box that I have no use for.

Re: Clutch kit
I doubt it because most clutch kits for dseries are from 88-00 (1.5&1.6 engines) and 01-05(1.7 engines) though all are dseries I am positive the 1.7s have their own transmission
Honestly with all the scammers out there I won't buy anything off h-t users unless its pickup only....try listing it on craigslist forsale and see if anyone needs a clutch for a d17

Re: Clutch kit
I think that it was an honest mistake but who knows? Maybe I could just pick up a new disc and see if the pressure plat and bearings will work. On second thought I might just put it up for sale on CL or on here.
