Solution for torque steer?
Hey,
I'm planning out a turbo build for my EK and something that i've noticed even with the stock power is there is torque steer. Now not saying that my suspension couldn't be screwed but my apprenticeship teacher has told me that having the longer shaft will most definatly twist under alot of power. Is there a solution such as an aftermarket jack shaft so i can bolt on an equal length cv?

mmmmmmmmmmmm......I don't think I've ever been in a FWD car that didn't have some sort of torque steer upon full throttle.
RWD conversion perhaps? JK JK JK on a serious note, torque steer and fwd drive train go hand in hand in my opinion, my Acura has it, my Volvo C30 has it....
You may be able to reduce it a little, but I highly doubt there is a true "solution" for it.

Was thinking about this...... Here's a decent question which I don't have no answer to since I have no direct experience with the product.
Wouldn't a traction bar help significantly w/torque steer? Do I sound dumb as hell right now ht'ers?

traction bar, LSD, remove power steering (if you have it- i'm not familiar with ek's as much)... and just get used to it, drive a high horsepower srt-4 and you'll thank your honda for not being as bad
jdm zc DOHC motors use a jack shaft, it "should" fit your d series, there is also the usdm crx si with a d16a6 and it has a jack shaft, that one you could order it from Honda and see if it fits. good luck

Equalise the torque better between the driveshafts by using a low friction differential. The torque difference is zero if the differential is frictionless, and limited slip differentials, intended to increase power transfer, actually make torque steer much worse.
No clue on the accuracy, but wikipedia lists an LSD as making torque steer worse.
