I'm putting a k24a2 in my 03 civic lx, should I put a new trans in it as well or will stock line up?

 

i'm not sure if you should do a swap if your'e asking this question...

 

K-Series engines are reverse rotation, when compared to D-Series engines. This means a few things:
1. The engine sits on the opposite side of the engine bay (meaning a D-Series transmission will be unable to sit in it's current location).
2. The transmission is rotating the wrong direction (so you'll have 5 reverse gears, and 1 forward gear).
3. There is no aftermarket support for adapter plates that allow you to bolt any Honda OEM transmission up to a K-Series engine.

As 01_civic stated, you're beyond under-prepared for this swap if this question was serious in any way.
