ok so i was driving with a few friends and there were some runs going to happen like on da other side of town in like the cuts n we were headed there to check it out see whats up den all of a sudden a cop pulls me over so i was like what ever just a routine stop so i was like whatever then he comes out with some b.s saying pop ur hood n i told him why there was no reason and why did i get pulled over anyway he didnt answer me n ignored so i opened it since he said i can be taken to jail for not complying n a chp pulled up to they looked over everything waited a long time then he says ur hose from the valve cover is missing n ur air box is kinda loose so ur going to have to take it to the state ref n i told him why cant i just tighten it n he said no what a dick huh fyi i drive a 88 dx hatch with a obd1 d15b7 all stock except carb legal headers n no cat i know i have to put the cat on what should i do?? n he said that ill get the ticket in da mail? is dat true i passed the smog like a month n a half ago so do i wait for da ticket how do i find out i just wanna get it over n done with i have no clue with this stuff i hear one thing i hear another so lost any help thanks

the d15b7 came in 1992–95 Honda Civic DX/LX and the 1992–95 Honda CR-X del Sol which is considered a newer replacement motor for your 88 Honda civic dx,if you have all your emission stuff you should be fine.
