Default Honda Brake pads vs EBC Redstuff

What are some opinions on Factory honda brake pads vs EBC redstuff brake pads. I know EBC is really good but is it worth the extra money over factory honda brake pads. Which is better and which one is worth buying. Pros and cons kinda stuff.

Seriously? Search the forum and use google. Daily driver? Track? Mix? How many dead presidents you got?

Not sure what your going to be using them for, but from a technician standpoint, use the OEM stuff. Everyday we see cars come in with all brand new aftermarket stuff and it does nothing but squeek and become extremely dirty.

you must work for a dealer also? same with subbie guys they buy hawk pads and have the same problem then they think its everything but the pads themselves

I have seen every different type of pad come in, and almost every single aftermarket pad squeak on hondas and acuras. Something in the material. Aftermarket rotors are usually a little different too.

The worse I ever saw was a lady complaining that she just had brakes done like 10K miles ago on her CR-V, so I get it in the air, some aftermarket shop TOOK HER! She had new brake hoses, new calipers, new rotors, new pads at 35K miles. Yeah the dealers brake jobs are expensive, but hell we don't take you for that much.

Its just from everything we see that most people don't get the chance to see. Spark plugs are the absolute worst.
