Clutch release arm problem..!!!
Hi
Just bought a 88 CRX on the weekend.
The person i bought it off somehow snapped the nut that adjusts the clutch cable. I had a spare one sitting around from a CRX that i had a year ago so i installed it.
Now the problem im having is, when i push in the clutch pedal the clutch release arm stays all the way in. It's almost as if the arm doesn't retract, just stays in when i push the pedal..
So now i can't drive the car because the clutch is constantly on untill i manually (with my hands) return the clutch release arm to where its supposed to be..
I know its not the clutch cable because i made sure that theres play in it and i know it wasn't holding the release arm in because the clutch pedal is very loose..
I think the clutch may need replacing or it's been fitted wrong. But not too sure though..
Any ideas would be great.
Thanks
