Default eCtune website for sale - Is it gone?

Went to renew my Ostrich-2 license after running CROME, got a bounceback on the request saying the webserver is not connected... Went to www.ectune.com and the domain is for sale.

Has anyone heard anything about this? Is Calvin done?

This license thing is really getting to me.

Is there a discounted Neptune package for people who want to bail from eCtune?

Just hit up James at hrtuning, he will definitely help you out.

I don't know about the discounted rate, but you will never have to worry about the licensing crap again, he is always on top of things.

Shoot me a PM or email. I have the Ostrich trade in program if you want to trade up or can get you setup with a license for a Demon if you get that separately.

^^ Ditch your current setup and go with the Demon / Neptune setup period.

You will not regret it. Every time I use Neptune RTP I get reminded of how much it outperforms other platforms. I encourage you to spend some time asking around to others WHO ACTUALLY USE several different tuning systems often and find out their recommendations. Anyone who has experience with Crome, Hondata, ECtune, etc.. will tell you that Neptune wins hands down. Neptune has more features, more flexibility, can install into a previously socketed ECU (doesn't require unique pins as does S300), works flawlessly with ZERO software issues, and unbeatable product support.

.. And with the Ostrich trade in program, you have no excuse not to

Neptune wouldnt communicate with my laptop in a reasonable fashion. The software looked good, got to play around with it, ive tuned several cars on several systems. Crome, eCtune, hondata, DSMlink, AEM, ECMlink, DSMap. So i know my way around. But neptune and my laptop never vibed. Used another laptop and it worked. But ive never had a problem using my laptop with any other systems. I tried reloading software, and help from tech support...and got none. So just sayin my experience. ECtune worked pretty well. But im really liking the S300 ive got now. To each his own.

I have tried Neptune on two different laptops. Didn't have any issue besides my lc-1 direct serial was reading fairly slow on a HP laptop with Vista. Switched to a Dell with Xp just for ***** and giggles and everything runs flawless now. James is always responding fast at Hrtuning.com

Yeah, i emailed you. It was about 7 months ago. Sent 2 emails. Basicly the problem i was having was with my "tuning" laptop would connect, but when i would try to tune it or basicly do anything, it wouldnt take changes. like tryin to have the 02 disabled. Always had a CEL for 02 and ELD...no matter what i did. And the car wouldnt ever start unless the laptop was plugged in to the ecu and up and running. fought it for over a week. Borrowed a laptop finaly and hooked it up and everything worked just fine. But i couldnt afford to change laptops, so i sold neptune and put the car back on Crome lol...but hey, made 721whp and 24psi on e85 on crome. Thats been my experience with Neptune. loved the software, not complaints with anything, just wouldnt work with my laptop. I tried reloading windows, drivers, updates...everything.

No help sounds like I didn't even answer, which is misleading. I can't imagine I didn't run you through things to check. Sorry you ended up having to switch back.
