I have a 1993 EG and the car turns on when cold but as soon it gets warm and i floor the pedal it sputturs and dies on me. It left me stranded so i had to wait for it to cool off for a couple of hours before i got it going again. When i got home i noticed that when i give the car gas it sputters and it makes a kinda of a fart sound coming out intake manifold and a bunch of white smog comes out smell kinda of like gas but not sure. No one seem to know what it is CAN SOME ONE HELP>>>

Voltage going to Map Sensor 5v

all these thing came out good..ive never seen nothing like this before..

Thanks for the link..well would a bad intake manifold gasket cause it to turn off.Becuase the gasket is new i just did a head job on it and replaced it when istalling everythin. And i dont think is my head because i got the block tester and it came out good. I really dont know what could it be..

 

Mine had white smoke come out the intake when one sleeve cracked and an adjacent piston broke. (previous owner neglected to tell me engine had high comp pistons, but the ECU was not modified).

 

If i had a craked sleeve i would have a miss fire right? Cuz the the car runs well when cold i rev it to high rpms and it dosent turn off but when it get hot it make the fart sound and smoke comes out. I dont think its my pistons or head becuse the car runs well when could no miss fire or nothing.

 

Would a buzzing huming kinda of sound normal coming from a Eacv on a 93 civic..

 

It shouldn't buzz. When does it buzz? If you unplug the EACV, does the buzzing stop?

 

yes it dose it stops buzzing..here is my story so my car is not working proberly it turns of when i floor it and smoke comes out my intake manifold. I already posted a thread on that cant figure it out. but n-e-ways my Eacv was buzzing so i went to a salvage yard and they sold me one for 50 bucks i installed it hoping it would solve my problems and it didnt but that one also started buzzing so i dont know if it is normal or that one is diffected. PLEASE HELP FRUSTRATED N CONFUSED..thanks

 

Sounds kind of like your timing is backwards if it's blowing smoke out of the intake manifold.
