Ok so i have 5th gen 01 prelude right now i have carbon fiber hood / fiber glass front my idea is id like to turbo the car its an automatic what ever tho weighs less now i want to know what parts i need to upgrade and ideas for the type of turbo i do use this car as my daily driver for now. I might buy a bike and just have it as my Toy but i work an hour away so the car gota stay reliable for rainy days.
Like do i need to sleeve the h22 before i boost it i dont want to run more than 8 pound im thinking t3/t4 hybrid turbo right now please help idk **** about cars

 

where are you located? i think you'd be better off just driving it to a speed shop, handing them all your money, and leaving your pants down for 30 minutes

Yo yo yo don't touch the car until you have some idea what you are talking about. Read FAQs and do basic mechanic work before you try to turbo anything....

 

your going to spend thousands on a turbo, rebuilding the engine to make it strong enough, and getting somebody to do all that is going to be expensive. Just buy a bike(get a cbr) so if somebody smokes your prelude, tell them you have a honda that will smoke them. Then go home get the bike and go burn them.

 

you and me both know that this guy's build will never happen in a million years . I don't think anyone in 2011' is going to make an automatic Prelude fast. If someone would make a powerglide RWD Prelude, they have my support though

Can they also go home and get their ZX10R? Your CBR will have a nice view of the Kawi's tail light the whole way down the strip.

 

you gotta be joking me with this bike talk guys.. all 4 of the big 4 hypers are advanced to the point that valentino rossi himself can't use all of the potential. A ZX10R vs. a CBR1kRR will yield different results a lot of the time

 

True. I just dont get why people think that a bike versus a (stock) car is any kind of match? My theory is that they watch too much Fast & Furious or Biker Boyz.

I'll be rolling way behind on my VTX or TLS though.
