Default 97 civic EX power door lock issue!

Whats up honda techers! i dont post here much but i come here all the time for information thats for sure! got a problem i cant quite figure out. Got a 97 civic EX coupe and the power door locks will not work. simple fix i think, fuse, new switch, possibly a new door lock thingy thats behind the door panel. checked everything and it still will not lock or unlock via the switch on the door. every single fuse on the car is good and made sure it wasnt missing any fuses. tried 3 different known good switches, and tried a known good door lock thingy behind the door panel that bolts to the door frame. im out of ideas now. power windows and sunroof work just fine and the doors lock just fine manually of course. what else could possibly be unplugged or shorting out or what not?!? im at a loss...thanks ( . Y . )

1) Double check 20A hood fuse #51. Test for voltage at both top test tabs of the installed fuse.

2) Does the Wht/Grn wire in the connector plugged into the power door lock control unit in the driver's door have battery voltage?

checked the fuse under the hood for the door locks and even swapped the fuse a couple days ago. i dont have a test light or meter to check voltage =( guess that needs to be on my to get list!

If the fuse popped soon after installation, you might not know it. This is why you need to properly test the fuse using a multimeter or test light. Click the Fuses link in my signature. And just buy an inexpensive ($5-$15) digital multimeter so that you can properly troubleshoot any electrical problem in your car. It's an important tool for your toolbox given that you do your own car work.

Longshot here, but you might take a look at the fit of interior door panel alignment, particularly close to the manual lock actuator. They can get bound up and not move when electric power is applied.
