Default Stolen Type R

Hi everyone,
Apologies if this post does not belong here. I did a search and did not find an alternative location. I've also been away from the site for some time.

Today, my car was stolen for the parking lot where I work in Chapel Hill, NC between 11:45 and 1:30pm EST. Here are the details.

1998 Integra Type R
Badge #733
132,xxx miles
Specialized UNC licence plates
Passenger side decal was peeling a little.

If anyone sees parts being sold or even a 98 Type R being sold in the Southeast, please let me know ASAP (brxbomerz02@yahoo.com). I will take care of anyone who is able to help me find it in good condition.

Also, if anyone has pointers where I could post this so that more people can view, please let me know.
Thanks,
Jasper

Sorry to hear your loss.

Can you elaborate on the security you had to help the rest of us?

I waited along time to find a stock Type R...have had it for 5 years..this really hurts.

Unfortunately all it takes it one ******** to spot it. Hopefully it will be recovered.

Nice R.looks like you kept it stock.best of luck finding.

Hope it turns up. Up the security next time. Anyone is vulnerable to get their Honda/Acura jacked, sucks to say, but true. Good luck man.

either they were watching it for sometime or just a random drive by and they came back the following day. It sucks we all own a special production model and we can't even enjoy them daily driven. Only on the track or where they are in close seeing distance. Well sorry to hear this but I will keep my eyes and ears open if anything comes up.

Sorry to hear about this. That is a beautiful ITR, and with any luck you'll find it. It could've just been some punk looking for a quick joyride and then dumped it somewheres.

Thank you guys...I appreaciate the concern and keeping on the look out.

The security at my job is taking forever to get back to me about the camera footage which is so frustrating. I've also created a flyer for the police...they need to know that it just isn't another car, but should be easily spottable.

I will certainly get a higher security if I'm fortunate enought to get it back or a replacement.

@BETOSCOUPE...sorry to hear abour your car too. What is it with people? It is sad that we just can't work hard for something and enjoy it without people wanting to take it away.

I'm getting really sick of seeing threads like this! No disrespect to the OP, it just makes me sick to my stomach! Pathetic pieces of trash to steal someones car, it's rediculas.
I was just talking to my wife yesterday about our R and thinking how long long it's been down, 5 yrs. I told her I hate to so paranoid and let thieves stop me from driving it but my God where can you go without always having to troll your rear view mirror and drive out of your way just to go back home. It's not like I'd leave it anywhere I couldn't keep direct eyesight on it or do something stupid like go to a mall leaving it unattended.
Sorry for the rant but this is really getting old!

I agree. I feel that our cars out a little outdated now. They are still a lot of fun to drive and a work of art, but there are many other cool cars out there now that should be theft magnets. Mine was high mileage and a little rough around the edges so I'm not sure why someone would steal it. Wish folks could just enjoy what they have.

I really hope you are able to keep your R safe.

unfortunately even though yours may have been a little rough around the edges it is still desirable to those that are going to swap all of the parts onto a civic.....

I hope that some good comes of this... Chapel Hill would have been the last places I would have thought this would have happened.....

Any word on the parking lot camera/
