Default Help with sideskirt removal.

Im taking the lip kit and sideskirts off my prelude and I need a little help with getting off the sideskirts. They're double sided taped or connected with some kind of adhesive. My question is "What do I use to get the sideskirts off with the adhesive?" goo gone? Or is there something else that works better?

There held on by clips. U gotta hit it hard from the back so it slides towards the front then pull it off

They're some dumb ricey side skirts

There's some kind of adhesive holding it on where it come up past the bottom of the door.

Its probably just double sided adhesive tape. You can try a heat gun and pulling harder.

They don't look too bad to me....guess I'm ricey, haha.

Try carefully using a razor blade to slice through the tape a little at a time, while soaking it with some sort of adhesive remover.

I second a heat gun, go slow and peel them off, then work on the adhesive by itself as Hawkze described.

Sounds easy enough. I'll post pics of the car once I take them off.

If they were molded, they might actually not look bad at all - you can even see the lines of the bottom part of the door flow with the ends of the side skirt.

Here's the sides and you can see the front somewhat. The passenger side tape wasnt removed yet. It got too dark after to take a pic. I will have new ones soon with the exhaust and rims. Next will be the new exhaust and 16 inch rotas or whatever i find for a good price. Those nasty rims are 19s...lol Then the suspension and front and rear lips and sideskirts.
