Default Car wont start.

I have 97 gsr into ek 00 hatch.

my car doesnt start up. the car turns over but doesnt not fire.
I researched a lot and so far nothing. I did a spark test, no sparks and i changed wire and spark plug. could it be the ignition coil? or the whole distributor it self, i will try buy new coil see if it work. someone told me it could be fuel flood from trying to crank the car too much? can fuel injected car get flooded? if yes how can I fix the problem? well if anybody could help me I would appriciated.

You can test your coil with a multi-meter. If you don't know how to do this, get your hands on a meter and a helms or haynes manual.
