You can use your stock mounts and transmission. Use the clutch & flywheel off your a6.
Also use 0bd0 to obd1 jumper harness. The distributor need jumper plugs and you need a obd1 distributor. One 4 wire o2 sensor with male and female plugs. Vtec and vtec oil pressure plugs. Finally the ecu the p28. Thats about it may one or two things more.

You might have to change the fan switch if the switch is on the thermostat housing.

You sir, ordered a d15b e-vtec. which is a dual vtec solenoids and odb 2. Which is more of an economy engine, instead of the D15B vtec, from the years 92-95, which more people are prone to buy.

yes you will need to run the p2j, although they can be difficult to procure if i recall. either that, or you will need to swap the head for a regular single solenoid sohc vtec head (the other d15b,z6, or y8)

i had entertained that idea in my mind as well but whether or not you could run one of the solenoids on a dual solenoid vtec head with a p28 safely and effectively is unbeknownst to me.
