88 crx si swap d15b
Hey guys,
I'm new to the forums, was browing around the net and found you guys knew what you we're talking about. Here's what going on i have a 1988 honda crx si with a d16a6 currently in it and i just ordered a jdm d15b from tigerjapanese. I was just wondering all the materials i'm going to need i researched a bit and found what i think i need is some mounts, i know hasport makes some for the cable to hydro trany, a p28 ecu which i have and a jumper harness, just wondering all the things i need.

You can use your stock mounts and transmission. Use the clutch & flywheel off your a6.
Also use 0bd0 to obd1 jumper harness. The distributor need jumper plugs and you need a obd1 distributor. One 4 wire o2 sensor with male and female plugs. Vtec and vtec oil pressure plugs. Finally the ecu the p28. Thats about it may one or two things more.

i had entertained that idea in my mind as well but whether or not you could run one of the solenoids on a dual solenoid vtec head with a p28 safely and effectively is unbeknownst to me.
