D motor into DC chassis. I know about the guy who put one in a Type R, but I'm looking for people that are active on this site. I've been searching, but I can't find someone. Or if anyone knows of a write up about it or something like that... And I don't wanna hear about "keep the B in it" because that's not what I want to do.

Also, unrelated, can you reuse rod bolts? Rebuilding the B and I wanna know if I can save money on bolts. 135k on the motor now.

Yup dc1 comes with a d series engine stock, its just like doing a b series conversion in a civic except backwards, you will need the d series mounts although some are the same as b series, shift linkages, and ecu and motor obviously oh and axles will bolt in no problem.

Working on building a Z6, but I have a D15B and an entire turbo kit for a D and I don't want to spend the money to re-buy everything for a B. That, and the teg is in MUCH!!!!!! better condition than my 92 hatch (Si, so not much of a weight gain.) Basically, EVERYTHING that's hooked to the D in the hatch now goes over to the teg.

As far as my second question... The rod bolts? Reuse or no. Just a stock rebuild. The guy I saved it from beat the hell out of it and burnt out the rings.

If your turboing then replace with arp.. And all you would have to do is get a new manifold for the b to fut the turbo

And a clutch. That stuff is an extra $400, so that's not gonna happen. And did you mean I need to replace the B rod bolts if I'm boosting?
