Hi, i just installed my intake yesterday and i did a fine job of it. There is only one part that I couldn't exactly figure out where it goes. It is a long piece of metal with about 6 holes on it. You can see a picture of it here.

Attach to the Strut tower (where old intake came from) and the intake itself. It's to keep that sucker still when the car is in motion.....metal rubs and brakes stuff.


Had a friend who rubbed right through his brake lines because he didn't install his.

 

There is no where to attatch it to on the intake...and im really still confused where the strut bar is... Sorry im a newbie.....if you could get a picture that would be great
