Reasonably secure so it doesn't rattle/bang around when you drive.
On a good system, it should be connected at the throttle body (duh) and the filter end should have a bracket that secures it to some stationary object in the bay.

What is the end of the filter resting on? Just kinda hanging there in "midair"? Well if it doesn't move around that much, you'll be fine.

you dont really want it resting or rubbing on anything......yours looks like its sticking up too far or something bc mines not that close to my strut bar....looks like you need to tilt it down or something but i'd hafta see a pic of the entire thing to tell
Nice routing dipshit! Why don't you take the time to route the fog light wiring AROUND the goddamn motor instead of taping it to the strut bar with electrical tape and running it over the motor. Here's an idea too...use the routing for the headlights/front turn signals as a guide. It's probably going to melt, fray, short something out...maybe if you're lucky, your car will catch on fire too! If you're gonna take the time to do it, do it right.
the wire that came wtih the fog lights was too short and no melting problems yet I'll probably rewire it later on

OK...so that was a bit harsh. But seriously, wiring is cheap. While you're at it, go to a heavier gauge wire. For fogs I'd go with 14 to 16 gauge at the least. It looks like it came with 18g. You can get wiring at any autoparts store. Good luck with it.
