I need some help about my car.. The ecu come out light code 16.. What was that? And how to fix it? Please help. Thanks!

Code 16 is fuel injector, more info would be nice.
Did you just swap it, how many miles?

 

yes i swapped to a b16 from a carburator. So do i need to clean the injector?

 

im throwing the same code. Is there any one out there thats fixed one before?

 

Code 16 is a rather nebulous code. Usually means an issue to do with injectors. Could be poor contact from the ECU to the injector, the injector itself. It can also be caused by a bad solder joint in the main relay..

 

so how to fix? anyone can help? what should i do? please!

 

are you running an injector resistor? all b16 or b18 obd0 is low impedance which needs an injector resistor, otherwise you going to fried the injectors

 

well i tried changing main relays and im still throwing a cel code 16. I have 89 si w/ obd1 conversion harness and 650cc precision injectors wired to resistor box. Is there a way to test the resistor box? how about the injectors, can i test them to see if they are working properly? Has anyone fixed this problem before on HT? I need help.
