Default Is a Bigger Throttle Body Better?

I'm looking to get a bigger throttle body for my d16y8. This would help my power, right? Please give me a little bit of info on some of this, I'm completely new to Honda.

It would help with response and not necessarily power.
The TB is basically a door.
If your engine isn't able to pull in more air (bored out, ported, etc) then there is no sense to opening the door even more. Response may change as will access the air it want's more quickly.
