Could be bad ballasts.

It's bad ballasts. I assume you've got some cheap Korean HID kit. Are you surprised?

Solution: Get a quality kit. OEM components + Projectors retrofitted into your headlamps. Do it once with quality parts and forget about it.

If the stock bulbs work then you got a crappy kit. Not really a Civic issue.

Really lets go to one extreme to the other a 50$ cheap *** hit kit to a $500 Retro fit!

I agree thats the solution but come on!

OP try getting a relay harness and wiring that up and make sure that your left and right headlight fuses arnt getting ready to blow!

You can do retrofits for as little as $200 if you have patience. FORUM retrofitters also will retrofit your headlights for ~$300 with their basic high/low kit.

$500?

It could be his fuses, but I doubt they'd just hang on with a tiny thread left. Pretty safe bet it's his ballasts. Or they could be really bad bulbs.

Just because you paid a lot for it doesn't mean it isn't a cheap HID kit.

It's also PWJDM, if you paid $100 for something on their site you can be sure they paid maybe $20 for it.

PWJDM is extortionate.

True. Expensive does not mean good. I'm running a $50 HID (until I can ever afford to retrofit) and have been for the better part of a year. No issues.

Switch to led. Much less drain on the battery. Get the 3 sided led towers they work great
